MSD Design Ltd provides survey, design, manufacturing and installation services worldwide from our facilities in East Tullos and Altens Aberdeen & Quayside in Dundee, Scotland.

Established in 1992, our long standing history of creating bespoke design solutions to the Oil & Gas, and Civil industries, has positioned MSD Design as a go-to company for challenging solutions.

Our in-house steel fabrication and GRP (glass reinforced plastic) manufacturing facilities allows MSD Design to supply many industries with composite and steel hybrid products.

MSD Design offers clients with a turnkey approach to projects. Our staff includes Surveyors, Design Draughtsmen, Project Engineers, Engineers, Steel Fabricators / Welders, and GRP Specialists. MSD's design office has the latest facilities to produce technical CAD drawings and 3D structural modelling. The steel fabrication facility is capable of handling complex steel structures and coded welding, whilst the GRP manufacturing units can produce products from mould making to final production.
