Trainee laminators / Spray Gun Operators

We are looking for Trainee laminators / Spray Gun Operators to join our team in Aberdeen.
The successful candidates will be given full training.

Main duties will include being responsible for the manufacture of GRP products. The role will involve hand wet lay-up laminating, chopper gun spray application and helping around the factory in various tasks to aid manufacture.

This is for a full time permanent role.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of moulds.
- Moulding of products
- De-moulding of products
- Application of various release agents
- Material identification
- Gel coat application
- Working to a high standard of health and safety both including company and legal policies.
- To maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
- Identifying and repairing defects on products.
- Skills/Training

- Conscientious, reliable, honest and punctual.
- Flexible with regards to working hours.
- Capable of working within a team environment.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.

Production Administrator / Assistant

Production Administrator / Assistant required at busy fabrication factory based in Aberdeen.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Entering new orders on to Order book system.
- Use order book system to provide work lists to Fabrication team.
- Maintain dispatch spreadsheet
- Arrange for orders to be dispatched, book couriers and create dispatch paperwork (if necessary)
- Maintain Overtime spreadsheet and monitor with Production Line Supervisors.
- Arrange for items to be sent for calibration and maintain records spreadsheet.
- Provide administration support to Production Office Staff.
- Creating spreadsheets & documents using Microsoft Excel, Word, Microsoft etc.
- Attend and contribute to Production meeting (if necessary)
- Provide Production Controller with reports extracted from Order book.
- Sourcing tools and materials for production
- Controlling and issuing tools & PPE

Skills Required:
- Highly proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
- Excellent organisation and planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Needs to be comfortable and flexible with evolving priorities and roles
